American Glory

Yesterday, US beat Algeria allowing them to advance to the next round in the World Cup.

To celebrate, get a little patriotic with an American Glory.

Ingredients:

• 3 Ounces of Champagne
  
• 3 Ounces of Orange Juice
• 2 Ounces of Lemonade

Combine all the ingredients into a frosted ice-filled highball glass.

Mojito

A mojito seems to scream summertime and since it is almost officially summer we better start drinking mojitos!

Ingredients:

• 1 1/4 Ounces of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum
  
• 12 Mint Leaves
  
• 1 Tablespoon of Sugar
• 1/2 Ounce of Lime Juice
  
• 2 Ounces of Soda Water

Put the mint leaves on the bottom of the glass. Next add crushed ice, Captain Morgan, sugar, and lime juice. Muddle. Finally add the soda water and garnish with mint leaves.

Loves It, Hates It

People wearing clothes that don't fit them: Hates It!

I don't understand why people feel the need to wear clothes that are one, two, etc. sizes too small.

Do these people not have mirrors?

Seriously, they need to take a couple seconds out of their day and look in the mirror. If skin is poking out, you have massive camel toe after using a pair of pillars to zip your jeans, etc. you need another size.

You could be the prettiest person in the world but if the clothes don't fit then people remember your outfit and how bad it looked on you, not how pretty you are. Moreover, if the fit isn't right it can make the person look heavier.

People wearing clothes that do NOT fit seems to be a widespread problem, what has to be done to get these people to stop?

Kiss Me Slow

Have you ever had a moment when all you wanted was the guy to take his time and never stop?

Well if so, raise your glass to Kiss Me Slow.

Ingredients:

• 4 Ounces of White Rum
  
• 2 Ounces of Triple Sec
• 1 Ounce of Lemon Juice

Add the ingredients together in an old-fashioned glass and stir.

Wedding Belle

One of B's best friends, J, is getting married this weekend to an amazing guy, JB!!

It's only fitting that we honor this soon-to-be Southern Belle (they'll be living in Georgia soon!) with this wedding themed drink for her very special day.

Ingredients:

• 3/4 Ounce of Gin
  
• 3/4 Ounce of Dubonnet Rouge
• 1/2 Ounce of Cherry Brandy
  
• 1/2 Ounce of Orange Juice

Pour the Gin, Dubonnet Rouge, Cherry Brandy, and Orange Juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Enjoy.

Transition Your Sorority Kit to Your Adult Kit

Ladies there comes a time when your sexy, black, lace, barely there panties should be worn at home for your man, not at work or in the classroom.

Don't worry, I am not advocating granny panties (cringe), but rather more age appropriate, working adult panties. Instead of black lace think cotton. Instead of sexy think cute.

Below is an example of what you want to save for your man.

It's a cotton thong with a little bit lace. It's more conservative but has a little bit naughty.

As a general rule your adult kit should be worn to work, work events, school, and family functions.

As with every rule there are exceptions. Here are a few:

• You're meeting up with your guy on your lunch break for a quickie.
• You're going to have a long day at work and want to spice it up with a naughty secret.
• After class you're meeting up with that cutie you've been eying for drinks.
